EDIT: It's for all links, not just YouTube. My assumption was it was a Google / YT integration thing. I had a feeling it had been discussed before. Apparently there was an update, it's now Ripples for URLs.

I haven't searched it out yet, but it seems to me that Ripples have been 'enhanced' in some way when sharing YouTube videos. Instead of having separate analytics for each separarte share of a YT link, they are consolidated into ONE screen.

For an example of what I mean, check out the link attached. You can now see all the different communities that have shared a link instead of just the one instance. If you look at the circle that contains my name you'll see that it is independent of say Chris Pirillo's. Laughing Squid has their own, etc.

THIS is what is desperately needed for companies to more accurately track the 'viral-ness' (dear heavens I used the word) of their content.

Cool. Very cool. Just let me EXPORT the dang data now!
