That scream you just heard in the distance… it was me. I have reached my max of people I can circle. I've already gone and weeded out as much as I can. This is a sad day for Lynette. There is much Google+ goodness I need to circle!
Of course it would help if pages didn't count to my quota. Sad, sad Lynette….

Maybe move your pages to your Women of Google+'s circles? I moved a bunch of pages I followed to my own page.
I'm a long way from 5000, but this seems like a strategic error for G+ Do they really limit how many people you can circle? If so then I really need to start culling now cause I just started here and I'm well on the way to where +Lynette Young is.

At least they don't ground you if you add people you don't know like Facebook. I'm on a suspension over there right now. So far I haven't exceeded my limit here yet.

Have you tried to remove the ones that aren't active?
I have the extension to clear out unused accounts from my circles, thanks. I have 4,999 ACTIVE accounts. Never in a million years did I think I'd be one of "THOSE" social media people.
I think this 5,000 limit is a problem as well.
I've gotten rid of Inactives and Uncirclers, yet I still hit the limit.
Anyone have any idea when Google might lift or remove it?

help me understand why in the world you need 5000 ppl in your circles… by the way "I have 4,999 ACTIVE accounts." I'm one of your inactive accounts… I barely join to Google+ once a month. Most of the ppl you have in circles didn't know you, or even know what a "circle" is. Sorry if I sound bad, I tell you this because I never understood why some ppl want to have that much of ppl as friends in their accounts if never talk to them.

Ouch 🙁 Me too. https://plus.google.com/102083464455553020743 – I hit the limit at 1 am on this past Sun morning. Didn’t even realize until today that there was a limit, just figured that added too many on Sun am. I have 4972, which G+ must be rounding! Where are my other 28!?! Guess the only thing to do is stimulate others adding me to their circles and prune my own circles. My guess is that you can’t add those G+ users who circle you back if they are not yet part of your circles.
