Since conference season is in 'break' for me now but starting up again in August, I'm thinking about SWAG (stuff we all get…) Has there ever been a conference or trade show 'give away' that really caught your eye AND provided business value afterwards?

Thats a retronym – "swag" meaning "booty or plunder" is an older word. (And thanks for the reminder that I meant to write a blog post on this…)
As an aside, the meaning for SWAG that I first encountered came from the engineering world: Scientific, Wild-Ass Guess.
