Only 13 days until Mother's Day in the US – what do you have planned / what would you like? My husband & kids pretty much treat every day like Mothers Day so the day itself isn't really a big deal to me. The thing I really want for myself like a weekend trip to a spa with girlfriends I want to do on my own, not as a gift. Seems weird but I would rather do it on my own!

I think there's something empowering about making the choice to do it yourself.
That said – a gift from your family would be nice too.

This is one of those days that mean nothing to me… I don't need a day .. I am loved and respected all year round from my husband and children. If though I had to choose a gift…. I would want a holiday with my family … I so want my girls to have that typical holiday building sand castles on the beach and paddling in the waves..
