My kids are off school for spring break & I'm pulling mommy duty and mostly off work for the next four days. I really need to find a lot of local / outdoors things for them to do because being stuck in the house with them isn't an option! I really wish I was on a Disney Cruise right now with them though!

what about a photo walk – with the goal of selecting the best of them and making some kind of online gallery
(not sure how old the kids are)
4.5 son & 10.5 daughter. A photo walk is a brilliant idea! My son can manage my iPhone & my daughter needs to learn to use my SLR for a summer trip she's taking. Thanks so much +miriam dunn for the awesome idea! Do photowalks have any themes or is it just 'shoot what you see'?
This shouldn't come as a surprise, but they each already have their own name/domain with WordPress set up, they can host them there.
Just tell them to go outside and find easter eggs… just don't put any out there… they'll be looking for hours.

Tyler State Park is just across the river in PA. (I think you're pretty near-by). Nice trails, a cool covered bridge. A frisbee golf course. Too early for canoes, unfortunately, but it's a great place for a day outside.
Well what ever u get up to with ur family i hope you have a great spring break, one thing i miss about coming to America at this time of the year is SPRING BREAK in Florida Tampa, Daytona, down to Fort launderdale then on to the keys , MAybe nxt year xx
i live on the beach so i go for long works and find stuff there for my mates kids nephews and nieces to build take photos of beach combing is a great way to spend a fews hours out side..
Maybe making a kite is a good choice. They can fly kite for a whole day.
If the weather goes south, try Sahara SAMs indoor water park. If you buy tix online before you go they are cheaper. Really fun place.
