Today I am thankful for Christmas music.
I’ll be honest here, I generally can’t stand to hear the stuff before the 20th of the month. I am also NOT a fan of “Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer” and my kids know if they start singing it I take away a gift (I really don’t, but it’s a fun threat.) The fact that the music is starting up in the stores on November 1st is disheartening to me and dilutes it in my opinion. The few days up to Christmas I’ll finally give in and tune my Sirius into the holiday channels bouncing between classics and the more modern songs!
