THIS! What a great +The Huffington Post interview & article with +Jill Foster and +Ekaterina Walter. Jill is an amazing person and speaker coach and has so much experience.

I have this idea that I use as a learning tool when working with my (mostly female) coaching clients. Acceptance / Action / Acceptance. I didn't exactly do a scientific study to arrive at this, it's just based on 20+ years of experience.

What I mean by Acceptance / Action / Acceptance is that before sending in a speaking proposal, hitting publish on a blog post, walking on stage or even asking for a promotion or raise, women tend to want to know they will be accepted before even putting the offer on the table. After the action is done, we still may need validation that our knowledge, work or content is good enough. For me, it's all about working through the first 'acceptance' – internally or with trusted friends or mentors – that gets you to move to the very confident action quicker.

Jill sure does know how to work with speakers to build that confidence and polish!
