Sounds normal doesn't it? <grin> I'm off this morning to go have surgery on my arm/elbow to hopefully fix almost permanent numbness in my arm and hand. It's sort of an important thing when you type for a living. It feels like I've hit my funny bone all the time. Every time I say that to someone in person they flinch. Yeah. Exactly what it feels like. I will be happy to be on the road to recovery, but 10 weeks in a sling is a long time to be forced to slow down!
"Ulnar nerve submuscular transposition" is the technical cute-doctor term for what I'm having done. Trust me, don't Google it!

I understand. One of 3 nerves in my left arm was pinched a bit. So, it is less developed than the right side. I didn't need surgery. I could feel sensations in my pinky finger for a while. Most of this was caused by poor and improper posture at work in front of the computer.
