Today I am thankful for my creative outlets.
Reading. Writing (sometimes.) Paper crafts. Creating things has always been at the core of my personality. To balance the head-work of my career and business I often want to turn to things that I can do with my hands. I’m very driven by audio and visuals (hence my businesses was a retail scrapbook and paper arts store… and my love of and history with podcasting.) There is only so much work I can accomplish thinking in my head or typing on a computer. DOING is better for me. I have a basement full of supplies from my old scrapbook store and I promise in 2016 I will purge it down and organize it so that I can get back to being creative again. Hell, I hope to get my laser cutter back in action too – creative AND tech!!
